My name is Simon Ryder and I have been commissioned to make artwork for the Outpatients department of the new Broomfield hospital. This commission comes with the theme of Outside-Inside, and in particular drawing inspiration from the coastal and estuarine landscapes of Essex.
Outpatients:Inshore began in February 2009 and it will be about a year before the hospital is build and I can install the artwork. So this blog is intended to keep you up-to-date on how the project is progressing over the year.
